Rumudamo is a small village and station in Arbegona District. Its altitude is around 2,200 m above sea level and it is considered one of the highest altitude coffee - growing areas in Ethiopia . Coffees from this station took 2 nd , 3 rd and 8 th place in 2020's Cup of Excellence ; and 9 th place in 2021 COE. The station works w ith 600 farmers. The station also farms its own 74112 variet y coffee on 840 hectares of land .

Washed Anaerobic Process: Clean and ripe cherries are selected. The selected cherries are precleaned by handsorting and floating. Then cherries are anaerobic fer mented in sealed containers for 72 hours. After fermentation, cherries are pulped in pulping machines, and the parchment beans are submerged in clean water in the demucilager fermentation tank for another 72 h ours anaerobic fermentation. Following the end of 2 nd fermentation, the beans are washed in water channels by workers and put to drying in raised African beds , under shade for 10 - 11 days.


On the nose: Strong notes of jasmine, hops and honeysuckle.
On the palate: Lemongrass, white tea, white peach, pineapple, grapefruit.
Acidity: Bright, citric and slightly tropical acidity.
Sweetness: Floral honey sweetness.
Finish: Super clean and lingering finish.
Body/Viscosity: Low body, low viscosity. Juicy.
Feel: Elegant, super complex and super transparent.
