Çerez Politikası - Null Coffee Roasters
Cookie policy
As Null Kahve Kavurma Atölyesi İmalat San. Ve Tic. A.Ş. (“Null Coffee Roasters”), we use cookies, pixels and web beacons (collectively referred to as “Cookies”) on our website located at www.null.coffee (“Website” or “Site”). We have prepared this Cookie Policy (“Policy”) in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), its secondary legislation, the Guide on Cookie Applications published by the Personal Data Protection Authority and the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board, to inform you about the processing of your personal data through cookies.
1) IDENTIFICATION TECHNOLOGIES AND COOKIES
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our website and store certain information. These technologies are beacons, tags, and scripts used to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our service. The technologies we use may include:
- Cookies or Browser Cookies : A cookie is a small file placed on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some parts of our Service. Our Service may use cookies unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies.
- Web Beacons : Certain parts of our Service and our emails may contain small electronic files called web beacons (also known as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs). These beacons help us count users who have visited a particular page or opened an email. They are also used for related website statistics, like recording which parts of our website are popular and verifying system and server integrity.
Cookies can be either "persistent" or "session" cookies. Persistent cookies remain on your personal computer or mobile device when you are offline, while session cookies are deleted as soon as you close your web browser.
2) WHAT IS A COOKIE?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or device (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.) when you visit a website. Cookies help improve the online visitor experience by allowing the user and their device to be recognized and information about the user's preferences and past transactions to be stored.
Cookies usually contain a unique identifier number (cookie ID). This identifier number allows your browser to be recognized and inferences to be made about your movements and actions on websites. Personal data is obtained automatically (without human intervention) through cookies.
3) WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF COOKIES?
Cookies are generally subject to different classifications depending on the cookie provider, their usage period and the purpose of use.
3.1) Cookies by Cookie Provider
- First Party Cookies : First party cookies are cookies placed by the website that the user visits directly, that is, by the URL that appears in the browser's address bar. Personal data processed through these cookies reaches the data controller that manages the website directly.
- Third Party Cookies : These are cookies placed by a third party other than the website the user is visiting.
3.2) Cookies According to Their Usage Period
- Session Cookies (non-persistent) : They are stored only for as long as the internet browser is open. When the user closes their browser, these cookies expire and are automatically deleted.
- Persistent Cookies : They are stored in the browser for certain periods of time. The storage periods of persistent cookies vary depending on the purpose of use. These cookies are automatically deleted after the previously determined periods have expired. If the user changes the cookie settings before the expiration of the period determined for persistent cookies, these cookies may be deleted before the specified period.
3.3) COOKIES ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF USE
- Absolutely Necessary Cookies : These are cookies that are required for websites to function properly. Absolutely necessary cookies enable different features of websites. These cookies are necessary for basic purposes such as navigating between different pages on websites and logging into your user account.
- Functionality Cookies : They are used to improve users' experiences on websites and to add functionality to sites. They are often used to remember user preferences, such as saving users' filter settings or the language in which they prefer to use the site.
- Analytical / Performance Cookies : They allow users to analyze their movements on websites and to improve websites and services accordingly. For example; information about the user's device, the pages most frequently clicked on or most time spent on the website, etc. are obtained through analytical / performance cookies.
- Marketing Cookies : They are used for purposes such as determining users' interests, conducting personalized marketing activities for users, and thus not showing users advertisements that do not interest them. Marketing cookies are also used to prevent users from showing the same advertisements too often and to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.
4) WHAT DATA IS OBTAINED WITH COOKIES?
Through cookies, data regarding user activity records are collected and processed, including the browser and operating system you use, your IP address, your user ID, the date and time of your visit, interaction status (for example, whether you can access the Site or receive an error message), use of features on the Site, search phrases you enter, how often you visit the Site, your language preferences, page scrolling movements, and information about the tabs you access.
5) FOR WHAT PURPOSES AND FOR WHAT LEGAL REASONS ARE COOKIES USED?
Detailed information about the cookies we use on the Website, along with the purposes and legal reasons for using cookies, is provided for your information in this section.
5.1) STRICTLY NECESSARY COOKIES
Null Coffee Roasters uses strictly necessary cookies to enable you to use the website properly and access all its features. Without strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to use some of the site's functions or the whole site or parts of it may not work properly. For example, these cookies are necessary for transactions such as shopping on the site, adding products to your cart and completing the purchase.
Your personal data obtained through these cookies is processed within the scope of the legal grounds that “data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person” in accordance with Article 5/2-f of the KVKK and “processing of personal data of the parties to a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract” in accordance with Article 5/2-c of the KVKK.
