Nyakuru Farmers’ Cooperative Society (FCS) operates the Kahiriga Factory located in Gitugu, Murang’a, in the village from which it takes its name. 726 farmers cultivate SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties on small coffee farms of 200 to 500 trees, delivering their cherries to the factory. Nyakuru FCS takes pride in its commitment to quality, sustainability, and social responsibility, dedicated to ensuring that its coffees meet the highest standards.
