Miller Bustos has been producing coffee for more than 20 years. He inherited his farm from his mother and is the third generation to produce coffee on his family's land. He hopes people who drink his coffee understand the love and work he and his family put into its production.

Bustos began production in the early 2010s, when he saw that specialty coffee was available at the right prices. He hopes specialty coffee production will help his business remain sustainable over time. Focusing on improving processing infrastructure and changing fertilization methods to improve coffee quality, Bustos hopes that when people drink his coffee, they understand the love and hard work he and his family put into its production.

Of course, Typica is a hybrid between Bourbon and Timor created by CENICAFE. It was released in 2002. It is like a combination of flavors and qualities of Bourbon and Typica. Like its two parents, plants of the Tabi variety are long-branched and tall. However, Tabi has slightly larger fruits and seeds and can be grown at higher altitudes at densities of 3,000 trees per hectare. The name comes from the word "tabi" meaning "good" in Guambiano, a dialect of an indigenous Colombian tribe.

If you like balanced Kenyan coffees, this coffee could be a South American alternative with a lot of sweetness.

On the nose: Honeysuckle, currants, brown sugar.
On the palate: Citrus fruits, especially tangerine, currants, dried mulberries.
Acidity: Balanced. Citric acidity.
Sweetness: Strong. Brown sugar, toffee, fudge.
Finish: A clean and short finish.
Body/Viscosity: Medium body, low viscosity. Silky.
Feeling: Like semolina halva prepared with quality mulberries.
