Bombe Washed - Ethiopia - 2020/2021
Tasting notes: We proudly present this new harvest (20/21) coffee, which is on the National Food's list of 12 coffees, and which we are most popular among washed Ethiopians.
The sensual journey that begins with exuberant spring flowers on the nose brings to mind Hallertau Blanc , a German hop described with notes of white wine (sauvignon blanc). It has both the elegant fragrance common to hops and the characteristic features of the related variety. White grapes, passion fruit, kiwi, gooseberry, grapefruit, orange... In addition, a strong spicyness accompanying tomato jam evokes umami feelings on the palate. This layered (complex) coffee is round and creamy on the palate, quite permanent on the palate compared to the washed Ethiopians we are used to.Variety: G1 Local Gotto Varieties
