Keramo Daye Bensa Natural - Ethiopia - 2020/2021
Tasting notes: Listed on the National Food's 12-cup list, this naturally processed coffee from freshly harvested (20/21) Ethiopians has the shine we expect from washed coffees and a surprisingly clean cup profile.
Coffee greets the nose with white flowers and sweet mint scents. It strongly evokes the local wine grape variety Kalecik Karası and especially its Roze expression. Strawberry and raspberry flavors are followed by bright red plum sauce and dried cherries. The taste that remains on the palate is dried apricots. It is quite elegant and multi-layered. It accompanies each sip with a new question of wonder.
