It is always impressive to see the people who manage the production and drying process of Pe de Cedro with complete mastery. Unlike many farms in the area, Pe de Cedro grows the Red Bourbon variety rather than the typical Yellow Bourbon. As a result, it has a perfectly uniform coffee quality to feature in your coffee blends throughout the year or as a single-origin espresso.

When Edson Morais de Barros purchased Pe de Cedro Farm in 2012, it already had a reputation for producing high-quality coffee. As the current owner, Edson continues to develop the potential of the farm and the Mantiqueira de Minas area.

While refreshing fruity notes such as tangerine, honey-almond and earl-grey stand out in filter roasts of coffee, intensely sweet and palate-covering sensations such as chestnut dessert, chestnut honey and chocolate mousse are evoked in espresso roasts.

On the nose: Bergamot, tangerine.
On the palate: Tangerine, maltese plum, fresh almonds, chestnuts, cocoa.
Acidity: Low. Slight citric acidity.
Sweetness: Strong honey sweetness.
Finish: Oily and long.
Body/Viscosity: Strong body, strong viscosity, mouth coating.
Feeling: Intense, strong and satisfying.
